    KEYBOARD BINDINGS
First of all and prior to all of this, I changed the selection of all air/land/naval units to ctrl+a/l/n, respectively and have not have any trouble in multiple games. The implementation of these key bindings are more complicated than just trying to change the binding for 'c.' So, why does the key binding for the commander always revert to 'b?'

I created multiple sandbox games to test this out.

On multiple occasions, I went through the entire keyboard binding list changing...
    1) All shown bindings for 'c' to something else.
    2) The binding for the command to 'c', like it used to be.

    In each case I...
    1) Click on save, and save and exit.
    2) Go back to the main menu and then back into the keyboard binding menu to make sure my changes were saved...they were.
    3) Click on save like 20 times.

After each attempt, the 'in-game' binding for the commander consistently reverts to 'b.' Why can I not implement the changes that I want in this particular case? Somehow the commander is special in terms of keyboard bindings, why is that? How can I make 'c' the default binding for the commander?

When I change a keyboard binding to something that is already occupied, why am I not prompted to change these bindings so that there is not a conflict?

    MENU...SO...S..........L..........O.........W..............
Besides these obvious faults in preserving the settings of the user, I have multiple problems with the entire experience...both in these cases and in the past.
    1) First and foremost, why is the interface ALWAYS so RIDICULOUSLY slow?
    2) I am not talking about the planet building phase, which is understandable.
    3) My computer is not slow, your interface is slow.
    4) This is a real problem...it is like a first impression...I often find myself so aggravated with the PA interface
that I will go do something else...like complaining on this forum.

I have asked many questions here and made many complaints. Maybe some have been addressed in other threads. If so, it was not my intent, I wanted to discuss every aspect of my experience.

Please someone, fix the interface. If you don't, no one will want to play PA.

    Hi Geers,

Are you talking about my graphics drivers?
I have NVIDIA 337.88 right now.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Geers,

Ok, I just tried the interface again this time it was pretty fast, but this often depends on when I try to play.

My real issue is with the keyboard bindings.

    Best,
    Mark

Upload your dxdiag and we can make sure you're not missing anything.

according to your Dxdiag, everything seems fine at first glance. tell me how the two mods go.

there's also an extra mod by wondible that doesn't supplant Uber's hotkey system but just patches it.

Hmm, I have been using Hotbuild2 for a while. I just tried out include KO Deferred and in game lag seems to be completely gone, which is great!

I like Hotbuild2, but how do you use it to make unit selections? As far as I know, you can only use it to build...right?

My real issue is with the main menu that comes up right when you start PA. Without doing anything else, I go into settings and reassign the keyboard binding for the commander to 'c.' Then I save and exit. When I go back into settings, the keyboard bonding for the commander has reverted back to 'b.' Why does this happen?

Not being able to save hotkeys in settings was a bug caused by an old version of rSettingsManager, reinstalling that might fix that problem for you.

I can change my key bindings with latest patch no problem. Now all of my key bindings got reset, but that was stated in the patch notes.
