While the format of these rules is intended in part to be humorous, the rules themselves are serious. It doesn't cover everything you shouldn't do, but should make it clear what is expected. Be respectful, to each other, to the devs, to the mods. Don't be a jerk. You'll get along fine. Being on the forums is a privilege that can be taken away. Please don't test the limits of what will be tolerated.

Rule 1: Administrators/Moderators reserve the right to change/edit/delete any content they feel is inappropriate.

Rule 2: Don't be a ****: Be nice to the new players and remember you were new once too. If you can’t discuss a topic without being antagonistic, don’t post.

Rule 3: Flaming - We do not tolerate abusive, malicious, personal attacks. You will be banned if you persist in this behavior. You will probably be warned at least once, depending on the situation. But you can be banned without notice. This includes, but isn’t limited to: racism, sexism, bigotry of any sort, cyber-stalking, general behavior that can otherwise be described as “being a ****” to another user. Also see: Rule 2

Rule 4: Trolls - Anyone deliberately antagonizing other forum users by posting 'flame bait' type messages is not welcome. You will be banned (possibly without warning depending on the severity of the issue) if you persist in this behavior. This includes one word or single picture posts and replies. Also see: Rule 2

Rule 5: Spam – Don’t reply to a post by quoting it with no other text. No “me too” posts. Don’t start new threads because you feel like people are ignoring your thread that you’ve already posted. These make the forums hard to read and clutter them up. Similarly, don't attack someone brand new to the forums for not knowing all the contents of the forums. Spam posts can be deleted without explanation, spam threads can be deleted without explanation. Also see: Rule 1

Rule 6: Do not, under any circumstances, threaten with physical violence any member of the community. This means employees, moderators, other community members. Threats of violence are taken seriously, and are reported to the FBI and other regional authorities as appropriate. Your UberNet and forum accounts will be banned immediately.

Rule Group 7, also known as the "Big Duh Don't" rules.

Rule 7a: Don’t transmit any message, information, data, text, software or graphic files, or other materials ("Content") that is unlawful (including illegal drug usage), harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, hateful or racially, ethnically, sexually or otherwise objectionable. Also see: Rule 2, 3, 4 and 6

Rule 7b: Do not impersonate any person or entity, including but not limited to, message board moderators, employees, contractors, or affiliates.

Rule 7c: Do not post or transmit any Content that contains a virus, Trojan horse or other mischievous Content.

Rule 7d: Do not use Uber Entertainment Forums' features in a manner that adversely affects the availability of its resources to other users (e.g., excessive shouting [use of all caps] or flooding [continuous posting of repetitive text or topics]). Also see: Rule 5

Rule 7e: Do not post or transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail", "spam", "chain letters", "pyramid schemes" or any other form of solicitation. Also see: Rule 5

Rule 7f: Don’t intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, rule or regulation. Also see: Rule 6, 7a... etc you get the idea. Just don't.

Rule 7g: Don’t upload or transmit any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights ("Rights") of any party.

Rule 8: Please refrain from posting rage quit/angry leaving the game threads. Nothing positive ever comes from them.

These rules are not subject to discussion, please don’t play Internet lawyer. These forums are here for fun and for the community, but ultimately, provided at Uber Entertainment’s sole discretion. If it is felt you are abusing the word or the spirit of the rules, you’ll be removed from the forums.

Other than that, live long, prosper, get along, argue, have fun, etc.
