16-32 Player FFA and Team Games On Weekends

Server will be available again on the 25th for an unofficial clan wars showdown rematch.

Nice! The games will be host on the same systeme? Or some people do others systeme?

Same system with new or previous players and hopefully new strategies for Team FFA.

I'l be hosting some more big games over the next couple of hours.

The 6 NW vs 10 others was fun! A little unbalanced with some good players like Alpha, killerkiwi etc, but that was really funny

About to start hosting some more games again today for a couple of hours.

A couple of weekends ago we did some testing with a Xeon E3-1270 v3 @ 3.5 GHz which has faster single thread performance than the 2690 v3 but only 4 cores:

For smaller games with lots of units the better single thread performance of the 1270 v3 is a clear winner over the 2690 v3.

For big games more cores are needed and 2690 v3 is the clear winner overall.

Could somebody please give me an idiots guide on how to join these games please?

Install PA Stats
Install Faster Server Browser
Join PA Chat (PA Stats adds this in-game) to be told when the game is online

You only actually need pa stats.... That allows me to see the games fine without faster server browser (though I have good internet)...

Faster Server Browser also adds the following:

• support for more than 3 spectators (and more than 10 players)
• starting planet info (the first question many ask)

Okay so, could you give me an idiots guide to installing "Faster Server Browser"? I tried last night but couldn't manage it.

Open PAMM, go to available mods, switch context to UI mods, install Faster Server Browser mod.
