I was trying to make a reference to the particle beam cannons in UC universe of Gundam. Was trying to figure out a way to put a reference to colony lasers but couldn't. Although there beam weapons have an interesting characteristic blocks out all forms of normal communication except for point to point laser communication or direct contact. So the solution to this was to build giant robots that have also compact fusion reactors in them as the power plant. This is the obvious solution to the problem.;)

Just saying lasers aren't the answer to everything. There can be different kinds of weapons and they can have different effects. Providing a little more depth to PA I think.:)

I'm just going to put out there that I hope it's not a death star like superweapon, but a tier 2 unit cannon. You set up control modules on the metal planet to activate it and allow you to choose a destination. One of the poles acts as the entrance for units, who get accelerated through the planet and fired from the other pole at immense speed.

I'm sure that @BradNicholson would be perfectly willing to give us a little hint about this ;)

They come out of the giant holes, don't they? ;)

    But... NORTH OR SOUTH?
