Weekend 1: Feedback

Important: For now, all discussion of playing the alpha is embargoed. Please do not talk about it outside this forum, email directly to Uber, or through in-game chat. This embargo will be short lived, but we need it for now, so people don't go nuts.

Specifically we're looking for:
- Connection problems
- Crashes
- Major driver issues
- Games getting into really weird states

What works for now:
- Land: pretty much all land units work to some degree, including buildings
- Air: Air fabbers work very well, bombers and fighters work well, advanced units only the fabbers have had any time put into them
- Naval works, but has had the least attention. Play around with it, but expect lots of pathing and other bugs.
- Scathis put in a first quick pass of balance, so please give some feedback on the first 15 to 20 minutes of pacing if you have any.

It was very late before we pushed this build, so I'm not 100% familiar with the major issues you'll encounter right now.

Watching knight and nano get into a game with nyx right now.

Do I need to do anything to Steam to make the game appear? I see nothing =(

And we have a server crash.

Also, would be good to get folks on Steam chat, so feel free to post and update (I'll be deleting this post before we let any other people in).

Another server crash but we got further.

Unfortunately we screwed up our callstacks and can't debug it at the moment. Sucks.

I'm sitting pretty at 60 I think

I'm more terrified by the lag between commands. It was almost 10 seconds!
And then my Commander refused to build anything

How are you getting FPS?

Apostrophes make the game sad

Haven't got into a game yet, keep clicking quick match intermittently.

Are you able to log in at all Poly?

Can't login. Tried Alt+95 but no love.
Switched Windows to US keyboard. That works fine but I can't get any capitalized letters working, not even in the console.

I think I'm out of options for the moment.
