    Introduction
Ever wanted to locate that one server that has all the settings you like?
Want to see where each server is located?
Or just check the server browser without starting the game?

    Webbased Server Browser by Racquemis
Today i present the first webtool developed for my site under construction. this webbased server browser will allow you to do almost everything the ingame server browser offers(including joining a server) but with a little juice added to the mix. Besides the basic filtering options provided you can also filter on each and every game rule.

The Database this browser uses is updated every 4 minutes and therefore it does not offer realtime playercounts. however a feature is under construction that will allow you to requery a server.

    Filter Options
    Basic Filters:
    - Hide Full Servers
    - Hide Empty Servers
    - Gametype
    - Map (Blitz and Crossfire)
    Advanced Filters:
    - All Game rules (9 filters)
    - Class Limits
    - Match time
    - Overtime

    Join a Server
The play button offers the possibility to join a server from the webpage
This feature requires a new Url protocol (unreal://) to be added to your machine.
Press the "Download Url Protocol" to install the unreal:// Protocol. After installation you will be able to use this feature

This can be a solution for the players not able to see any servers ingame

    Geographic location
The Browser shows the geographic location of each server.

    Manual Refresh
A refresh button with which you can refresh individual servers.
Due note that the default sorting (playercount Descending) may cause the refreshed server to appear higher or lower on list.
I therefore recommend to either sort on Servername or Ip address.

    Under Construction
    - Player Details for each server
    - Global Player Search

    Known Issues:
    - Hyperlinks under Servername and map lead to nowhere, pages still being constructed.

    Feedback
Feedback is greatly appreciated, tell me what you think and share ideas :)

Suggestion: An "Apply" button for filter changes or rig it so the entire page doesn't reload on every filter change

    Re: Webbased Server Browser

I kind of liked the instant change, but did not realize the page could load slower for others. yeah that could get annoying. Bandwidth wise it does not matter much, just a couple of kilobytes resend each time. Are you experiencing slow loading times?

Awesome browser. I noticed (on firefox, atleast) that selecting "Hide Empty", and then changing any other option will deselect "Hide Empty". Just a heads-up.

Eh, ISP is being screwy today so everything is being slow
I mostly just prefer being able to set the filters how I'd prefer then refreshing vs one at a time

    Re: [UPDATED] Webbased Server Browser

Added a temporary fix for it, LAX country code now correct.

EDIT: Some servers were not showing on the list due to timeout, increased timeout to 490 ms , anything above a 490 is just a plain bad connection.

    Re: [UPDATED] Webbased Server Browser

Any chance of having it display a graph of how man players are in game? It would be interesting to see just how many people are playing this game.

    Re: [UPDATED] Webbased Server Browser

Star Rating added to the server browser, filter options will come shortly.

To answer ducklings question,a graph displaying population would indeed be possible. consider it on the todo list.

Before i work on that i' m creating a tool for my servers that will allow automated server messages. After it's finished or maybe when i have some spare time i' ll see what i can do.
