[SOLVED] PA:T crashes when Titan lands

    Hello,
    I hava that game for two weeks now with Steam and I managed to win a war against AI and claim the whole galaxy. But now I have a problem: each time I want to start a new solo game, the whole game quits when my Commander reaches the planet. This problem never occured before!

    I'm running Kubuntu 16.04.3 x64 LTS up to date, Steam is up to date too.

    I think this is likely due to an issue with one of the commanders. The XOV commander suffers from some case-sensitivity trouble in it files. You can either pick a different commander or you can fix the case in <PA Install Directory>/media/pa/units/commanders/raptor_xov/raptor_xov.json to say "/pa/units/commanders/raptor_xov/raptor_xov.papa" instead of "/pa/units/commanders/raptor_xov/raptor_XOV.papa". (Notice the capitalization changed there.)

    Thank you! It works fine now that I changed the capitalization of raptor_XOV.papa to raptor_xov.papa.
    It appears all white, but at least it works fine :)
    I started another game with another Commander to check and everything went fine.

    This should be fixed in the next update to PA by the way.

    And I think you get all white because you didn't rename the other *XOV.papa files as well. It's probably failing to load the texture, which I guess is not as bad as not loading the model at all. :)
