    The upcoming PTE build is now up. Please reply to this thread with any issues you run in to. Mostly bug fix and polish, so will try to get it live as soon as we can to benefit everyone.

    Leaderboards (this won't be in effect visually until this goes live, but adding it to PTE notes so you see it's coming)
    - If player is inactive for 7 or more days, you will no longer show up on Leaderboards

    Bugfix/Polish
    - Current game list should have improved responsiveness (changed games list to make use of compression to reduce bandwidth requirements).
    - Improved server browser behavior (sorting is now by time arrived instead of by game name)
    - Adjusted start position for Unit Cannon so it looks right
    - Umbrella adjusted for visual improvements
    - New icons for nuke and anti-nuke ammo to reflect current color scheme
    - Naval Umbrella redesigned to better match visuals of land version
    - Art pass for Holkins (land and naval)
    - New build bar icon for Holkins to match new look
    - Server backend perf tweaks
    - Improved support for non English alphabets in directory names
    - Improvements on path handling overall
    - Crash logging improvements
    - Fixed a bug on player surrender
    - AI fabbers will now try to avoid building where they are standing (should fix long delay for AI to start doing stuff at start of game)
    - Neural net data updated
    - AI will prioritize areas where a commander is present
    - Nav crash fix
    - AI fix for building too many fabbers
    - AI now anticipates upcoming economy income for area builds
    - AI should expand faster
    - AI will no longer believe Dox can attack while underwater
    - Minor changes on how AI prioritizes planets
    - Added stuck detection fro AI platoons attempting to use a teleporter
    - AI now will use "Feeder Planets" when available to safely store units and feed them into more dangerous zones of battle
    - Layout polish on Kickstarter dialog
    - Recent contacts in chat list are now sortable

    Build 76502-pte (this will go out a bit later today 1/9/15)
    Added:
    - Opening new player guide when you are playing against AI will pause the game

    - More server browser improvements
    - water depth perimeter in editor
    - my planets now work with custom planets
    - Can now delete more than 1 landing spot in editor

    Make sure you remind Sorian to enter anti-skynet code in the AI

    Seriously though, the economic changes look sweet and I'm curious to see how it works with these feeder planets. It's invasions before were rather lackluster, looks like this will help with that

    General polish on server browser. Scrolling background text removed. Create-local and auto-refresh are checkboxes. The Locked Game Filter mod will be obsolete.

    Can you please add the starting planets... it's a really small change from the Faster Server Browser code :

    A couple of other really small changes would be the destinations so that failing to join, leaving or being kicked from a game returns to the server browser (as per original Faster Server Browser mod).

    Any chance you'll be able to clean up the existing feed?

    Current gzipped Uber feed is still over 1.2 MBit/s (155KB+) vs < 0.3 MBit/s (38KB) for filtered, gzipped, 304 not modified feed.

    Do we need an auto refresh checkbox and a manual refresh button in the server browser?

    Why would anyone not want them to auto refresh?

    Couple of very old outstanding OS X requests:
    • can you please map the SDL keycode for the command key in the engine
      [no keycode mapping for SDL_Keycode 1073742051]
    • can you please include the latest OS X Coherent devtools in the OS X build
    During alpha and early beta on OS X you could map the command key and cut/copy/paste username, password, chat, etc.

    New Holkins is nice.

    Had the AI commander freeze, and my Holkins shooting stupidly up into space in that game, but it was modded so it's (mostly) my fault :)

    EDIT: Holkins needs more HP though, it currently has the same 1500 that a double laser defence tower, or 1/4 of a T1 factory has D:

    EDIT AGAIN: There's also still a NOT FIRING bug, where units won't shoot their full range if the planet they're on is small compared to their range:

    Pausing on Player Guide being open is nice too.

    Whats more current 76502 because uber launcher says 76557. Which one should I be using??

    Just tell the uber launcher to patch the version to the most recent one it knows. If it hangs just click verify again and again until it works.

    Which version should I be running? All it give me is the stable 76557 and a new version 79411something like that.
