@kelwin99 - so after Mikey's post on palobby and the recent trainwreck allegedly caused by the new Uber producer, are you or Uber going to address the community and reveal if or what plans you have to restore the game to where it was, or are we left to assume the game is entering a downwards spiral?
Although I'd like to believe otherwise, given Uber's behavior today, I would say there is an 80% chance of the "new team with new planned features" stuff being just a diversionary tactic. Many people obviously love mikey, and the only thing they love more than him is new features for PA. So the best tactic to help forget him, and his being thrown under the bus by Uber, is to dangle these features before our faces. Let's wait and see then.
No icycalm. The only way to restore things, is, to work again with mikey again and increase communication. I mean, why not? Mikey is nice and delivered stuff! He is the one who kept stuff alive!
PA is not dying! Hope they create a new dlc for it. What I want to see is faster sim performance for late game and bigger planets. What you guys want to see most in the game?
The only way to get faster sim performance late game at the moment is to just have a faster server. We regularly run large games on custom servers and they maintain 100% sim on even the largest games. Except right now the game has no way of showing custom servers in the game lobby listings. This is an issue that was fixed previously by the community mods server mod, but that mod is now gone. We'll have to wait until another solution comes up for allowing custom servers to be seen, otherwise the only way to play on a custom server is to be invited into it by the host.
