Internal Playtest – Bugfixes for a Build Release for Tomorrow Morning

    • Testing for several bug fixes
    • Added back the economic efficiency scale in the form of “Easy,” (0.5) “Normal,” (1.0) and “Hard” (2.0) buttons.
    • The generating planets bug should be fixed tomorrow morning. Hitting F5 often will fix that issue.
    • The ability to modify lobbies on the fly is so amazing. I love the new lobby interface. So awesome.
    • Allies not sharing fog of war is being looked into.
    • If you can’t use the Theta, that’s a bug. It’ll be fixed.
    • It is probably not possible to pick up an allied commander with an Astraeus. If you can, that’ll likely be removed.
    • There will be an easy way to share systems in the future.

    I love this game but you're mad, the lobby system is terrible, i cant even host team army games any more, i have no idea if someone is in my game and not sat and cannot kick him either, and i have zip planet information, not even the size of the damn thing

    I kind of agree. I think there should be a section of the chat box in lobby to be dedicated for notifications e.g. "taxman66 has joined the lobby" "taxman66 has left the lobby" etc. And there is a mod that shows you size of planets in lobby but i forgot what it is called

    Ahh the shared option click able by host can make an army team i see, now i would just like to see planet info please!

    The new lobby is a huge step in the right direction.

    There's plenty of room for improvement with it... but it's a huge move in the right direction.

    Could you tell if we were able to choose our starting planet as the host in this build?

    Should be coming soon. Next week? *crosses fingers*

    Uber said that the main thing holding back multiple planet starts is some UI stuff, which I'd imagine will be fairly quick to develop.

    Ah ok thats good to know but I was asking if the host could choose the starting planet for everyone now(Ex I have a 2 planet system an earth and a moon but It always starts me on the moon and I can't figure out how to change It so I start on the earth.)

    I think you have to build a custom system to do that.

    is it just me missing the planet scale in the game lobby or is there something im not seeing.

    It's not there. :-/

    I hope it's added or the more system info mod gets updated for the new build.

    This is "the first pass of the second pass."

    There's a number of improvements that need to be made. That is one of them.

    In the meantime, turn it into a game! Try to guess the planet size. Take a shot if you get it wrong.
