Galactic War: working / not working, files changes and so on...

    you need to test your mod extensively, play with thousands of units click very rapidly, play competitively, of course with only a couple units on screen, my icons work as well. but with competitive level play PA doesn't tolerate it and will only allow you to reconnect if you play without any modifications to icons of any sort : (shader, unitlist or PNG)

    Settings manager 100% works just make sure you reinstall it
    Hotbuild2 needs reinstalling as well cause if you don't have latest version it breaks saving settings too.
    PAMM really need a better version change check then date ....

    I'm working on updates for my Commander HUD and In-Game Timers mods and testing my other mods that aren't yet on the list now. Will edit with results soon.

    Thanks for making this list! It's a huge help.

    - edit: Here are my results
    • The unit database mod actually does work. Same for blueprint info framework.
    • My unit renamer and the stargate names mods work
    • My two name bug fix mods work

    makes them white and not clear-cut instead of bright green.

    I can't confirm that. Completely disabling all mods does not change anything about them.

    Repro or it didn't happen ;^) To be fair, I haven't had much occasion to use it outside mod testing since I fixed my router. Probably doesn't work for Galactic War, because Uber's own reconnect doesn't handle that.

    could you breif me on how it is supposed to work? I think i said that just because it was hard for me to repro.

    EDIT : decided to move autoselect commander to broken because it selects all the commanders on the team. anyone know a fix?

    Start: If UberNet thinks you are connected, the button will enabled. It calls the same reconnect routine that on-game-start dialog does.

    InGame: attempts to reset the game state and re-join the game. Intended to streamline the times when you see the world freeze and you would otherwise exit to main menu and press reconnect.

    Once again, I've never gotten a Galactic War game to reconnect.

    It's always done that, that's why I put the checkbox in. If there's interest I could try and see if it's possible to detect the number of players on your team.

    Yeah that one is in wOrking... Normally. I'm talking about the opposite mod, which I hope I'm not mistakenly remembering using.
