Does not connecting to PlayFab!

    I bought the game in Steam. After update PlayFab does not connect me.

    I have the same problem!
    But found no solution until yet :(
    Some buttons are grayed - no multiplayer mode.
    I sent this message with details / description to the support-team:
    ===============================================================
    Dear support team,

    i have a connection problem: i cant use the multiplayer-mode of Planetary
    Annihilation.

    I cant play with friends in multiplayer mode:
    > the button "create game" is grayed
    > no games are listed

    Details:

    I buyed the game over steam (paypal) and i can start it. the paypal-buy process
    took a long time (10-15 minutes - perhaps the happened a link-problem or
    something like that...)
    The game has been downloaded successfully and is startable.
    Directly after start a little popup-window in the middle "connection to
    playlab.." appears for 2-3 seconds and then disappers.
    Everytime i close or open a menu (for example settings) this login popup appears
    for 2-3 seconds - but no message about success or error...

    My ubernet loginname is: "?????????????????"
    In the ubernet key-store there is no key listed (why?)

    But my ubernet account is successfully linked to my steam account - i checked
    this here:
    (sry, couldnt insert links)

    I tryed to download the no-steam variant here:
    (sry, couldnt insert links)

    Then i installed the installer and run the "UberLauncher.exe" => in the
    logininterface i tryed to login with the same loginname and password from the
    ubernet webpage with no success!
    I used the password-forgotten function with my e-mail adress: but no e-mail was
    send until yet (also not in the spam folder).

    Please help me.

    Uber are closed for Christmas holiday so there will probably be a bit of delay until you get a response.

    Whilst your waiting you should be able to play single player as that doesn't require a login. To enable single player mode without login, open the game, then go to 'Settings' and 'Local Server' and make sure it's set to 'On' rather than 'Auto'.

    On systems without much ram (less than 8gb) the default is off which is why the single player mode is greyed out. Changing it to 'on' should bring that back. You won't be able to join multiplayer lobbies (apart from hosting a lan game) without being logged in but at least you'll be able to play single player :)

    Yes, i just played single player for some hours - its very funny!

    So i hope to get help after holiday-time.

    Could you try it with all of your firewalls and virusscanners disabled? They sometimes block PA from accessing the Internet. If that works, you need to figure out how to add PA.exe as an exception to those programs.

    Somehow, it fixed. Maybe it was just a steam bug. Anyway thank you for help :D

    I'm having the exact same problem, only thing is I can't even play offline because every time I start a battle it just says "can't connect to server". i checked the server settings tab and the server select drop down menu doesn't work either. I've tried launching PA.exe, playing the game with steam in offline mode and even reinstalling the game.

    So the same problem as in you could play before the update, but after the update you were unable to?
    Could you check to see if you have any software from the following list?

    Also, have you tried completely disabling your firewall/virus scanner to see if those could block PA from accessing the internet?
