Hey, I'd like for official Uber servers to decrease their minimum players to 1 instead of the current 2. Uber's servers are the lowest ping'd servers here on the east coast (and I'd imagine elsewhere), but they are almost always empty ever since the the 'minimum players' was increased to 2. In my experience, no one wants to be the first to sit around doing nothing in a lobby waiting on other rando's to join. However, once a server finally has one person in it, people seem to be much, much more willing to join. A 'minimum players = 1' would at least let guys like me screw around while waiting for players to join... Kinda a minor gripe, but I think it's worth mentioning, I guess =P
Well, we need them at one. My issue is that when I'm waiting in the lobby by myself - when someone finally joins and sees that I'm 5 stars and level 260, they bail on me before the game begins, and the countdown continues until the game starts with only me in it anyway. Either way, I'll be playing a game by myself, and at least when someone joins midgame, my star ranking and level doesn't scare them away right away since they're unaware, and when two people are in a game, more tend to follow soon after. It's a matter of getting two or three people in a game in order to "start up" a server, and having me sitting in lobbies with my flashing rank isn't really helping. ... I'm awesome.
Yeah I agree. The servers in Australia are set to min, of 2 players, and the only other ones that have it set to 1 have a high ping, which makes it a bit hard to play as a sin or sniper. Since there are less and less people playing mnc i think it would a great thing for uber to fix, and probably wont take very long.
