    Nope, I expect the AI to idle in a corner and let me do my thing.

    One thing I noticed:
    The building preview always takes a bit of time to appear after you give the command to construct a building. Is that serverside? It makes building bases problematic if you suffer from OCD...

    I dare not admit how much that bothers me. =3

    Yes, it is server side. They appear on your cursor client side when placing, but once they're placed they become part of the command history and it takes a round trip to the server to show up. It's a polish issue. Eventually stuff like that will be hidden by some minor form client prediction.
