Firstly, at launch time it takes a lot of time to wait for mods update.

It is stuck at the UPDATE ACTIVE MOD screen for a minute.

Then, after it loads there is no tab 'community-mods'. <- I remember that the last thing i did before it broke up was that uninstalled every mod.

    Also there is this message:

    ERROR Error reading C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Planetary Annihilation Titans\media\stock_mods\client\: 3

I dont know how to solve this problem. Please, help.

    Thank You!

    * I have attached the log file from the *first* launch after fresh reinstall of the game (including deleteing Local Data directory).
    * I even have reinstalled whole OS (Windows 10) and problem persists.
    * I have tried to run with uber launcher - same.
    * Verified files
    * I have tried to launch with --nomod parameter, same

Checked. Uninstalled Zone Alarm Firewall. Cleaned cache. Problem remains... There was no anti-virus.

Is it possible that mod download isn't blocked, but it the game 'thinks' that chat-mod, mod-manager, etc is disabled, since I tried to unistall every singe mod using community-mod?

Thank You mikeyh for the answer, i believe this problem can be solved...

If you look at your logs you'll see lots of downloads blocked and timing out:
    • download timeout for ... after N seconds
    • download failed for ... after N seconds
The 70 seconds delay is the retry attempt before finally giving up and closing the splash screen.

ie something is still blocking downloads.

ok i will investigate further. i can access: https://cdn dot secure dot palobby dot com files with chrome

i thought i got 403 forbidden for the whole subdomain:

https://cdn dot secure dot palobby dot com/

but it was because i havent specified the security token...

You will get 403 on the raw domain and 410 on all links once expired. The secure links are constantly changing.

That was not the issue in your logs where all links were valid at the time of launch and had not expired. Launch PA and test the failed links from your logs of that launch in a browser.

You're on Windows 10 so Windows 10 Defender is also enabled once you uninstalled ZoneAlarm.

You don't need to uninstall stuff just temporarily disable then add exceptions for PA and Coherent if needed.

well, coherent-ui.exe was blocked maybe (i have added exception to x64 and 86 versions of PA.exe)

the game is downloading mods, but ....

still no community-mods (i have deleted localstore and download folder)

probably it will be easy for you to spot the bug, please

so i have installed windows 8 to see if it will change someting, but problem remains.

In the same network i installed PA on mac and it works without any problems.

I have copied downloads folder from mac to pc.

Now i can see and use 'community mods' in-game manager. (Logs attached below)

But i think the game can't update mods. The firewall is disabled. I tried adding every PA executable to firewall exception aswell.

    Thanks for help ;-)
