[REL] Air Trails

    Awesome thanks. It would also be pretty cool if the length of the trails were different lengths depending on the speed of the unit. i.e. Firefly has a long tail, and bombers have a short tail.

    Updated to make the trails activate only when aircraft are moving. I did this kinda quick so I hope i didn't make an error, which would cause your game to crash when an air craft spawns :p

    Yeah sounds cool but will take some time, might get around to it.

    Cool. Let me know once the different trail lengths have been implemented and I'll install the mod.

    If the planes are sitting in the air (the thing where they bouce up and down) then they're technically moving which means the effect should come on.

    If they are on the ground doing nothing then it will be off. I updated this so that the effects will turn off when they're laying on the ground ;p

    could you make it so that when they're in the air they don't have the effect as well?

    @killerkiwijuice could you do a version of the mod with a more serious white/yellow tone?
    Also it does seem that avengers donĀ“t have their trail..

    first things first: Your mod is great.

    Just a little bug: With the new update it breaks air scout vision (even the version you just updated). Can't see you in the chat that is why I'm posting here. If you are already on it: Sorry and good work!

    Hi,

    I think there is a bug with the game itself where units appear before the vision actually reaches them. Looks like it's only for the air scout. So not my mod :p

    Well I did some testing (because I reported the bug to tvinita and he said he can't reproduce it) and with your mod deactivated it does not happen. It doesn't happen when I play without mods. And it doesn't happen when I just deactivate your mod. So I concluded that your mod causes the problem.

    ACtually I think you're right. I tested with the rainbow version but the team colored version is a little broken. I didn't change vision radius so the fog-of war is messed up but the actual unit sight is fine. I'll update it now :)

    For the team colored mod, there are still a few units that are being effected. They are:
    • Air Fabricator (Both advanced and normal)
    • Hummingbird
    • Bumblebee
    • Firefly
    • Pelican
    • Kestral
    • Hornet
    • Avenger

    So I tried building a Zeus Titan with an advanced fabber but found out I couldn't!

    After turning on and off several mods I discovered this mod disables the Zeus Titan with ur advanced air fabbers. I had to built orbital to build my zeus instead :-/.

    Can this be fixed?
