Heh, that'd be cool... How about just a "sandbox" check box that disables mass points (allowing for metal extractors to be built anywhere like they are now) and disables building checks.
In Red Alert 2, players playing around with Final Alert map editor can script things like capturable oil derreks giving out infinite cash and players starting with them at the beginning of the game. It is a silly little moshpit noncompetitive sort of game, but it would add playable value nonetheless.
Please make it go bye bye. This and mex points are really big deals; once done, I could almost pass the game off as a finished product. (Polish not yet included..... Yet.)
We're currently prepping the build actually with this little idiosyncrasy removed. Should go out this afternoon sometime unless we find problems with it.
Got good news and bad news.... Good news: It half works. Bad news: It half works. You can no longer stack on buildings that have already been built, but you can still queue them up to be stacked. Still, a step in the right direction is still a good thing. So now when we go to place buildings do we just not allow it to be placed? Or do we allow it to be placed but cancel the build order if something is in the way? Or both?
